United Coffee is one of Europe’s largest coffee roasters, producing and distributing a wide range of coffee, coffee machines and related services through retail and out-of-home distribution channels, which includes hotels, restaurants and cafés.
Founded in 1818, United Coffee now employs nearly 1,000 people and roasts over 60,000 tons of coffee per year. The company is a market leader within the private label and single portion coffee sector and owns many successful retail and out-of-home brands. It also supplies some of Europe’s leading food service companies.
United Coffee is dedicated to working with internationally recognised codes of conduct, including Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance and UTZ Certified and is a European leader in sustainable coffee.
Backed by mid-market private equity fund, CapVest, United Coffee is now a leading force across six European countries – France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.
